About
All graphic designers need some form of inspiration. New student designers are building their visual dictionary and are only able to do this successfully by having plenty of professional or “good” design to look at. One of the best ways to accomplish this is by building a library of graphic design books. The best source of design books that I know of is amazon. One of the problems with buying graphic design books on the internet is that it is hard to tell what the book is going to be like when you get it. Will it be heavy on images and light on any type of conceptual content? Does the author talk much about their process? Is the work heavily handmade or does it lead more towards the corporate style? Well, with this website I hope to build a virtual library of graphic design book reviews. I plan on publishing reviews that review books as being good and bad alike. Hopefully when you are wondering what books out their will help inspire some ideas for your next project, you will click on this website that is in your bookmark bar.
